Polyoxymethylene (POM) is a kind of engineering plastics with excellent performance, POM has the hardness, strength and steeliness similar to metal, it has good self-lubrication, good fatigue resistance and rich in elasticity in a wide range of temperatures and humidity, in addition, it also has good resistance to chemicals, POM is replacing some markets traditionally occupied by metal at a cost lower than many other engineering plastics, for example, replacing zinc, brass, aluminium and steel to make many parts. Replacing zinc, brass, aluminium and steel in the production of many parts. Since its inception,POM has been widely used in electrical and electronic, machinery, instrumentation, daily light industry, automotive, building materials, agriculture and other fields. When used as bearings, it has been found to work better with nylon than alone.

Application
1.Zip is mainly used in clothes, bags and so on.
2. POM in the sanitary industry is mainly used in pump valves for flush toilets and pipe fittings for solar energy.
3. Electronic and electrical appliances are also involved in more products, is the traditional application of polyacetal, basically based on POM's self-lubricating properties of the production of bearings, gears, plastic parts. Also used to produce the shell of electronic appliances, such as can be used to produce washing machines, soya bean milk machine parts; video cameras, camera movements/audio tapes and video tapes of the spindle; a variety of relays/timers/cameras/typewriter parts, TV high-frequency head, electric fans and so on.
4. Modified POM is used in automobiles, sanitary ware, electronic appliances, power tools, daily necessities, precision instruments and other fields.
